FRANK ADAMOWICZ NAMED OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR FOR THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN HERZOGENAURACH

BASINGSTOKE, Hants (22 April, 2016) – TaylorMade-adidas Golf are pleased to announce that Frank Adamowicz has become an official ambassador for TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s Center of Excellence in Herzogenaurach, Germany - the most technically advanced customer experience in golf which is run by its own team of expert fitters and technicians. 

Adamowicz’s knowledge, combined with his strong experience within the golf industry makes him the ideal ambassador for the Center of Excellence. Currently attached to Golf Club St.Leon-Rot (and former European Champion winner), PGA professional Frank Adamowicz has over 45 years of golf experience. This includes playing on Tour for 5 years, 8 years as the National trainer of the German Golf Federation and over 20 years’ experience as the co-commentator on German Television. To add to this, Adamowicz is 9 times German Champion as the team coach with Frankfurter Golf Club and Golf Club St.Leon-Rot.

About the Center of Excellence

TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s Center of Excellence allows quality one-on-one time with a fitting specialist as they conduct a thorough evaluation of the golfer's set-up, swing and impact dynamics. Critical to the Center is the MAT-T system (Motion Analysis Technology by TaylorMade), an innovative tool exclusive to TaylorMade which gathers vital swing data using multiple high-speed cameras and specially designed software. MAT-T distills the information to create a three-dimensional computer-animated swing image that can be viewed from every angle. It executes a multitude of calculations and measurements which are used to create an in-depth set of personal, data-driven recommendations for every club in the bag.

The second step of a fitting is the launch monitor analysis, in which the MAT-T findings are validated. This technology analyses the launch condition including ball speed, launch angle and spin rate and combined with the MAT-T system provides the fitter with full information to recommend a full set. The onsite workshop at the Center of Excellence then allows for the clubs to be built according to the golfers specific requirements.
